Chef Stephanie Johnson King

 

Stephanie enjoys catering and working as a personal chef part-time -– as time allows from her busy schedule as CEO of Petite Gourmande, and Director of our Kitchen Kids children’s culinary program. For your next intimate and elegant dinner party, fundraising dinner for 300, or theme birthday party for a child, Stephanie could be your answer!
 

 

Chef Stephanie Johnson King & FriendsStephanie has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She attended Western Culinary Institute, and was an adjunct instructor at Oregon Culinary Institute in 2006 as director and instructor for the children’s culinary program. Stephanie has two children of her own and has been working with children in varying capacities, both professionally and on a volunteer basis, since 1985. Her children's activity books and cook books are available at our online store, or through Amazon.com.

 

Dennis Novoa
Owner: Rolling Chef Personal Cooking Service

 

Dennis’ background and expertise is in cooking for private clients, teaching recreational cooking classes, and leading corporate teambuilding events. He began Rolling Chef Personal Cooking Service in 2005 and has taught many classes privately and at local cooking schools. Dennis uses traditional French cooking methods and strives to make them accessible to the home cook.

 

Cooking has been Dennis’ second career after many years in the high technology and banking field as a sales executive, project manager and corporate trainer. Dennis started cooking seriously at home in 2001 when he became “Mr. Mom” for his family of six. The growing passion for food and cooking led him to restaurant work and then to France for culinary school where he earned the Cesar Ritz Diploma at the Ecole Ritz Escoffier, Paris.

 

 

Brooke Alsaker
Owner: Meals Ready to Heat

 

Brooke loves to cook healthy, organic comfort foods for people who want to eat great meals but do not have the time or skills to make them. A native Oregonian, Brooke is committed to using local products whenever possible. She strongly believes in supporting the local market and reducing our carbon footprint. She and her graphic-artist husband, Dyche Alsaker, run Meals Ready To Heat together.

 

In her former life as a Congressional Aide, Brooke rarely had the time to make the meals she wanted. So she decided to shift her focus from talking about sustainable communities, to taking action on these philosophies by working to move her clients away from the fast food culture into thinking about where their food comes from.

 

Brooke and Meals Ready To Heat are prepared to help you with dinner for two, group dinners, small parties and catering events. We are happy to make your favorite recipe from great grandma with local products, or you can order from our extensive and ever evolving menu.
