Cancellation Policy
Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. We run an extremely tight margin program, with limited space. This signed form is required to be on file for every class/camp participant prior to the first day of the program for which the student/camper is registered. If you must cancel your registration, our policy is as follows:
1) Deposits are nonrefundable. (Not all camps/classes have deposits.)
2) If you cancel before 30 days prior to the first day of the program you are registered for, your tuition and materials fee will be refunded in full, but your deposit WILL NOT be refunded. However, your deposit may be utilized for any other program for up to one year from the date of cancellation.
3) If you cancel after 30 days prior to the first day of the program, but before 3 days prior to the first day of the program, your deposit and materials fee will be forfeited, but your tuition will be refunded IN THE FORM OF A GIFT CERTIFICATE usable toward any other Petite Gourmande LLC/Kitchen Kids at the YWCA program.
4) If you cancel within 3 days (72 hours) of the first day of your program, your tuition, your materials fee, and your deposit are forfeited. No exceptions due to the fact that we must hire staff and order materials, based on the number of students enrolled, prior to the class/camp.
5) In the event of a weather-related building closure or other natural disaster, Petite Gourmande LLC/Kitchen Kids at the YWCA will refund your payment on a prorated scale based on the number of days canceled. These refunds will be issued by check within 30 days following the cancellation.
6) There is no refund for arriving late or leaving early. There are no partial refunds for any services not utilized while at camp.
7) Petite Gourmande LLC/Kitchen Kids at the YWCA is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for a canceled camp, such as child care, work loss, parking, gas, mileage, non-refundable bus or airline tickets, travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.
8) Petite Gourmande LLC/Kitchen Kids at the YWCA reserves the right to make changes to any class or camp schedule without prior notice.
9) All cancellations must be received in writing sent via FAX, email, US Mail (date of post-mark = date of cancellation) or hand-delivered with delivery confirmation to our location.
